ABOUT OUR CLUB
Treasure Coast Kennel Club
The Treasure Coast Kennel Club is made up of friendly dog people, both beginners and "pros." Our club abounds with dog lovers who share common interests of raising, training and competing with our dogs. As an associate member of the American Kennel Club, we support responsible breeders of pure bred dogs. Our philosophy is to educate, volunteer and show good sportsmanship. We cheerfully listen to your dog stories even though your family members might not.
The Treasure Coast Kennel Club consists of members from Indian River, St Lucie, Martin, and Okeechobee counties. Starting in the late 1960's, the Treasure Coast Kennel Club continues the tradition of supporting youth through Junior Showmanship Courses and host the Star Bright 4H Obedience club meetings.
To support our philosophy of education, we partner with the local Humane Societies to demonstrate responsible dog ownership, training and how working with rescues (including altered mixed-breed dogs) can enhance your life and your canine family member.
Our Philosophy
At TCKC we believe that education is one of the most important aspects of our Club. We believe that is the responsibility of the most experienced members, to share the knowledge they accumulated throughout their years with new members and the community.
Our History
Starting in the late 1960's, the Treasure Coast Kennel Club continues the tradition of the AKC sportsmanship guidelines in canine conformation and performance activities.
